Terms of Service

Registration: You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Account Security: Write keys and webhook URLs are sensitive. Do not share them publicly or commit them to public repositories. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Account Termination: You may delete your account at any time through the settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Free Tier: We offer a free tier with limited features. Free accounts are subject to resource limits (feeds, events per day, retention period).

Paid Subscriptions: Paid plans are billed through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Apple's and Google's refund policies. We do not have control over the refund process for in-app purchases.

Plan Changes: You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.

Your Data: You retain ownership of all content you submit to Glance, whether via HTTP webhooks, direct in-app uploads, or any other method. We do not claim any intellectual property rights to your content.

Data Storage: We store your feed state and event history according to your plan's retention period. Older events are automatically deleted per your plan limits.

Data Use: We only use your private data to provide the Service. We do not sell, share, or analyze your feed payloads for any purpose other than delivering them to your widgets and devices.

Data Deletion: When you delete a feed or your account, associated data is permanently deleted from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

License for Public Widget Content: When you publish a widget publicly, you grant Glance a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute the content of that widget's feeds (including images, text, and data values) solely for the purpose of delivering the Public Widgets feature — including rendering your widget on subscribers' home screens, showing it on the Discover page, and serving its public web landing page. This license is limited to operating the Service and does not allow us to use your content for advertising or to sell it to third parties. The license for any given widget terminates when you unpublish that widget.

What "Publishing" Means: When you publish a widget publicly, its name, description, category, creator display name, and the current state of its feeds (images, text, data) become visible to all Glance users and to unauthenticated visitors on the web. You are solely responsible for all content you choose to publish.

Creator Responsibilities: You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to any content you publish — including images, text, data, and any third-party material — and that publishing such content does not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

Subscriber Analytics: As a creator, you will have access to aggregate analytics for your public widgets, including total subscriber count and total URL click counts. These analytics do not identify individual subscribers by name or email. By subscribing to a public widget, you acknowledge that your subscription contributes to the creator's aggregate counts.

Unpublishing and Subscriber Impact: You may unpublish a widget at any time. When you do, subscribers' devices will stop receiving content updates from that widget. Existing subscribers are not automatically notified, and they do not automatically resubscribe if you republish the same widget later.

Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove any public widget or its content, with or without notice, if we determine it violates these Terms. Repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Subscribing to Public Widgets: Subscribing to a public widget is free and available on all plans. By subscribing, you acknowledge that the creator controls the widget's content and may update, modify, or remove it at any time. Glance is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or quality of creator-published content.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
