Discover & Public Widgets

Share widgets with a public page, appear in Discover search, and subscribe to widgets built by others.

Publishing

When creating or editing a widget, you can make it public. Public widgets get a landing page on Glance (for example glance.cool/your-slug on Pro) where visitors see a preview and can subscribe.

• Show in Discover — on by default; controls whether the widget appears in in-app search.
• Category & description — help others find and understand your widget.
• Custom URL — Pro plan; choose a memorable slug for sharing.

Subscribe to a widget

1. Open Discover in the iOS app or visit a public widget URL.
2. Tap Subscribe.
3. Pin the subscribed widget to your home screen — see Pin to Home Screen.

Subscribed widgets receive content updates from the publisher's feed. You don't need your own automation unless you create a copy.

Visibility changes

You can unpublish or hide from Discover anytime on the widget detail page. Existing subscribers may retain their subscription until they remove it.
